About Keep Left 2022

We live in a world of growing crisis and catastrophe, from climate-induced floods and bushfires to a global pandemic and horrifying wars. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is costing the lives of thousands and threatening to escalate and involve NATO and the US. The Australian government is also bulking up its military to confront China.

Global inequality has grown and governments are still failing to commit to anything like the action needed to avert climate catastrophe. Here, Scott Morrison looks to finally be on the way out, but Labor is promising very little change.

But there are hopeful signs with nurses, teachers and others striking against understaffing and for pay rises. We need to build a union fightback, and win action on climate change and against racism. Join the discussion and debate at Keep Left about how we can build a better world.
