Aunty Rhonda is a Gadigal, Dharug and Yuin Aboriginal Elder, artist, poet and community leader. She will speak about Union power for Black rights: the Aboriginal Waterfront Committee in the 1960s. Aunty Rhonda’s family has a long association with the trade union movement and struggles for Aboriginal rights and social justice and she is currently completing a PhD documenting this history.
